Having a moulded cornice and bead moulded frame, the large single door with one shallow row of baluster turned spindles over a deep row of conforming spindles and moulded base. The door opens to reveal an interior with two shelves. Provenance Ex Tony Chapman Collection, West Yorkshire, England. Included in an inventory and assessment by Victor Chinnery, dated 2001

Gorgeous But Size Up

The suit has a beautiful, rich burgundy color — truly eye‑catching and elegant. Unfortunately, the fit was a major issue. I recommend sizing up at least one size, especially if you have fuller thighs or glutes. The pants were very tight in the thigh and buttocks area, the vest didn’t cover the lower hip area, and the jacket sleeves ran short with a tight fit in the shoulders. Overall, the small felt more like a youth small rather than an adult small.
Our set also did not include the pocket square as advertised, though it did come with a white dress shirt and a mini black tie with a matching pocket square. The material itself felt okay — not bad, but not great.
We really wanted to love this suit because the color is gorgeous, but due to the sizing inconsistencies and missing item, we couldn’t keep it.
